One version of the truth.

Without hand-built spreadsheet reports.

ServicesData, analytics and management views

We build automated data pipelines, central databases and real-time views for management, sales and finance. We join the data of the operations system and the accounting system so that management sees gross margin, order backlog, customer profitability and cash flow at a glance.

We build the data architecture with the same discipline as the operations system: every KPI has one calculation rule, every figure can be traced to its source and every view is scoped to its user's role.

Data pipeline

  1. Source systems

    ERP, CRM, accounting and payments

  2. Validation

    Anomalies stopped before the report

  3. Data warehouse

    One calculation rule per KPI

  4. Views

    Management, sales and production

Why reporting breaks down as a company grows

In most companies, sales looks at the CRM's figures, production at its own list and finance at an income statement that arrives a month late. When the definitions of the figures differ, the management team's meeting is spent working out whose spreadsheet is right.

  • A central data model

We bring the data from sales, quotes, orders, time entries, the warehouse and the books into one precisely defined database, where every KPI has one calculation rule.

  • Automated data pipelines

Data updates automatically from the source systems and is checked for anomalies. Nobody moves CSV files by hand from one system to another any more.

  • Role-based decision views

The CEO and the board see margin, cash flow and the forecast; sales management sees the quote pipeline, win rate and customers who have gone quiet; production sees throughput times and bottlenecks.

What we build

  1. Management overview

Gross margin, order backlog, cash flow forecast and production load in one view, updated directly from the source systems.

  2. Sales views

Quote pipeline, win rate and customers who have gone quiet, straight from CRM and ERP data.

  3. Profitability views

Profitability by customer and by product, once sales, time-entry and accounting data are combined.

What the delivery covers

  • Specification of source systems, data flows and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Automated ETL and ELT data pipelines and data quality monitoring
  • A central PostgreSQL data warehouse with access control
  • Custom tracking views for management, sales and finance
  • Documentation, a description of the calculation rules and source code handover

Where we start

We start from the decisions: what management, sales and production need to see, where the figures come from and by which rule they are calculated. On that basis we build the data pipelines and views.

Where should you start?

Describe the situation briefly. You get a proposal for the first step and how it would be priced.
